The vase is made with a slow technique of hand-built ceramics called coil technique. It is made of black rough stoneware and hand-painted with a beautiful turquoise glaze that creates a special color combination on the surface of the vase. The color reminds me of flowing water. This vase is unique and one of a kind.
Every item is unique, completely handmade and has gone through a slow handbuilding process. The process of making ceramics requires double firing. First it was bisque fired in the kiln, hand-glazed and fired once again.The second firing is at high temperature of 1280’C, which gives the ceramic durability and high quality. Material I work with is called stoneware. All items are glazed with food safe materials and can be washed in a dishwasher.
